The terms, policies and conditions (collectively known as "Conditions") described below govern policies used on the physical spa site, telephone and on-line use of this site (referred to as "LeVonne de Spa", "site" and "SpaBoom"). Your use and/or placement of any order for service(s) and/or product(s) indicate your acceptance of these Conditions.
 

Check in

• Please arrive 10-15 minutes prior to your appointment time. We will do our best to accommodate late arrivals. However, the length of service will be adjusted so as to not inconvenience other guests. The full price of scheduled services will apply, so please plan accordingly.  Please arrive 10 minutes ahead of your scheduled reservation time.  This allows time for check-in, perhaps enjoy a beverage, and a few moments to consult with your therapist or service provider.
  

Cell phones

• Please respect fellow guests and help maintain the serene atmosphere we provide. To maintain the serene atmosphere of the spa. Cell phone use is prohibited in the spa, we insist that you either turn off your cellular phone or set it on vibrate upon arrival. Sorry, no spa sservice will not be interrupted visitor cell phone calls or text messaging.

A Few Minutes Behind?

• Regretfully, if you are late for an appointment we may have to shorten your treatment time to be on schedule for the next guest or you may have a longer wait time for a different service professional to accommodate your arrival.  We will do our best to accommodate late arrivals. In any case if you are goint to be late, please call the spa to let us know, this may help greatly.

• Prices, services and packages are subject to change without notice.

Reservations

• To ensure that you obtain your desired appointment time(s), please make reservations at least 2 weeks in advance (4-6 weeks for weekends/holiday season.) A credit card purchase or guarantee is required at the time of booking.

Gratuity (Tips)

• Gratuity is not included in the price of service or spa packages, it is added to the featured price. Our customary spa tipping policy is approximately 20%. This is added to your on-line order automatically. If you want to add additional funds to give to your spa therapist that is up to your individual discretion. You may tip the therapist additionally in your service room or upon check out at the front desk with cash. We are unable to charge gratuity to credit or debit card unless arranged in advance (a $7 service charge will apply).

Purchasing, Sending, Receiving Gift Certificates

• Gift certificates are void where prohibited or restricted by law.
• Gift certificates cannot be used to purchase another gift certificate(s).
• Gift certificates have no cash value, non-refundable and non-transferable.
  
• Gift certificates are not valid until payment has been received and successfully processed when paying by Credit Card.
• LeVonne de Spa reserves the right to refuse service or reverse any gift certificate purchase for any reason and return the the full amount or partial funds to the purchaser.
• These terms and conditions also apply to spa gift certificates purchased via SpaEmergency.com from LeVonne de Spa, which is listed under Detroit Area Spas and Waterford, MI Spas section.

Redeeming Gift Certificates

• A service purchased at www.levonnedespa.com is not necessarily a gift certificate purchase, but may be a service voucher.  SpaBoom™Instant Gift Certificates are only available through the 'Instant Gift Certificate' Program. Services have 1 year from purchase date. Dollar amount certificates are valid for 5 years according the Michigan law 2010. Promotional prices with a specific ending date do not qualify and may have  an expiration of  3- 6 months from purchase date.  The actual price of the gift certificate may be used toward another spa service not on promotion or on special with prior management approval. 
• Instant Gift Certificates can not be redeemed for cash and are strictly non-refundable and non-transferable.
• SpaFinder/Spa Wish Gift Gift Certificates CAN NOT be used for on-line specials and/or deals.
• Gift certificates are only redeemable at LeVonne de Spa for the amount or service specified on the gift certificate, by the expiration date indicated. LeVonne de Spa reserves the right to convert service-based gift certificates to the cash paid for the service. It will be equivalent to what was paid for the gift certificate, at management option and sole discretion.
• All Spa Services and Spa Products ARE NOT Refundable. Gift certificates are not redeemable for cash and cannot be returned for a cash refund.
• Any unused balance of a  gift certificate will be issued via a replacement gift voucher with the original certificate's expiration date.
  
• Certificates can not be used for Gratuities or spa products.
• If a purchase exceeds the amount listed on the gift certificate, the redeemer is responsible for paying the difference at time of reservation and/or purchase via credit card with a customer service representative or spa manager.
  
• For security purposes, a recipient may be required to show a valid state ID before he or she can redeem the gift certificate.
• Use and redemption of our gift certificates are also governed by our Privacy Policy.
• LeVonne de Spa, its agents and vendors, may provide gift certificate purchasers with information about the redemption status of gift certificates.

Cancellation / Gift Certificate Expiration

• All of our spa treatments are reserved especially for you.  We value your business and ask that you respect the LeVonne de Spa's service scheduling. Should you need to cancel or reschedule, please notify us at least 48 hours in advance. Any cancellations with less than 48 hours notice, as well as missed appointments, or no-shows will be charged in full, losing their paid appointment status. Scheduling an appointment is your acceptance of these policies. All services (including those with gift cards) require a credit card to guarantee a reservation so please have your credit card ready when booking. Your credit card will be billed the same day you make your reservation.  Services are valid for up to 1 year with proper cancellation. Upon checkout, guests chose their method of payment.  LeVonne de Spa reserves the right to immediately invalidate gift certificates, without notice, should it receive a credit card chargeback, returned check or other form of repudiated payment made towards the gift certificate.

• LeVonne de Spa is not responsible for lost, misdirected or stolen gift certificates. Reasonable and prudent steps are taken to verify the legitimacy of a redeemer and upon full redemption or at the expiration date, we deactivate the gift certificate.
• LeVonne de Spa reserves the right to dishonor the gift certificate, if it reasonably believes the redeemer stole or is otherwise not the intended beneficiary of the purchaser.
• Gift certificates are not redeemable after the expiration date indicated on the gift certificate, no exceptions.
• LeVonne de Spa will not replace a lost gift certificate even if it is before the expiration date and/or if the original gift certificate hasn't been redeemed and/or has a verifiable recipient.
• LeVonne de Spa reserves the right to contact gift certificate purchasers, or known recipients, to remind them of upcoming expiration dates.

Miscellaneous Terms and Conditions

• LeVonne de Spa reserves the right to change these terms and conditions from time to time in its sole discretion.
• LeVonne de Spa is not responsible for emailed gift certificates that do not reach their intended recipient for reasons beyond its control. Bounced email is not monitored. Receipt of email cannot be verified. LeVonne de Spa can only verify receipt of the gift certificate, if the recipient of the gift certificate actually uses the enclosed URL to access the gift certificate using a browser.
• LeVonne de Spa will attempt to process email delivery requests within 48 hrs. Many email notifications are previously scheduled.
• LeVonne de Spa is not responsible for late delivery of hard copy or digital gift certificates.
• LEVONNE DE SPA, ITS AGENTS AND AFFILIATES, MAKE NO WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, WITH RESPECT TO GIFT CERTIFICATES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, ANY EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. IN THE EVENT A GIFT CERTIFICATE NUMBER OR BAR CODE IS NON-FUNCTIONAL, YOUR SOLE REMEDY, AND OUR SOLE LIABILITY, SHALL BE THE REPLACEMENT OF SUCH GIFT CERTIFICATE.
• Gift certificates, and this terms and conditions, are subject to and governed by the laws of Michigan, without reference to its principles of conflicts of law.
• If any provision of these Terms and Conditions should, for any reason, be held invalid or unenforceable in any respect, the remainder of these Terms and Conditions shall be enforced to the full extent permitted by law. A court of competent jurisdiction is hereby empowered to modify the invalid or unenforceable provision to make it valid and enforceable.

Credit Cards and Receipts

• We accept the following credit cards: Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express. There is no surcharge for using your credit card to make purchases. However, service purchases are subject to a 'Gratuity Charge'. Be sure to provide your exact billing address and telephone number. (i.e. the address and phone number attached to your credit card or that bank has on record) You may provide an additional contact number in the 'Special Requests' section of your check-out form.
• IMPORTANT: On-line credit card transaction receipts may be issued from a Paypal, , Propay and/or LeVonne de Spa's email address. Please make adjustments to your email properties to ensure acceptance of your email receipt.

Ppersonal Checks

• We accept personal checks from established VIP SPA MEMBgRS on location only.  No over the phone checks can be processed. We do not accept personal checks via on-line store or PayPal.

Paypal™

• Paypal™ Helps Protect Your Account & Purchases Our shopping Cart may utilize Paypal™.  PayPal’s industry-leading fraud prevention measures and one-of-a-kind method of keeping your financial information safe and private. The store at no time comes into possession of your financial information keeping it secure. This makes us a safe store to shop with when using your VISA, Mastercard, Discover, AMEX or Paypal account.

Checks

• We do not refund spa services or products product(s) purchased. If you purchase a product we will gladly replace it if defective. Spa services and packages are not transferable and spa services may not be substituted. Check your shopping cart thoroughly prior to proceeding with check-out to ensure accuracy of purchase.

Reservations and Purchases

• We LeVonne de Spa is an exclusive day spa that accepts guests who secure service reservations via complete payment(s) (cash, credit card or Paypal). No personal checks accepted via Paypal.  See more information under 'Personal Checks'.
• All on-line reservations must be secured via the 'Shopping Cart' prior to requested reservation time/date (unless otherwise approved and authorized by Management)  Less than required rescheduling notice or misses appointments will result in forfeiture of the schedule service(s). An approximate 20% gratuity charge is added to all spa totals and is referred to  or shown as a "Shipping & Handling' charge upon on-line checkout or via phone order.
• When reserving an appointment via telephone please specify how you were referred to the spa as you may be entitled to special discounts and offers. We appreciate your feedback.
• Spa services, spa packages and gift certificates are secured with full payment using a Credit Card at the site using 'Buy Now' button features or at the LeVonne de Spa On-line Shopping Cart system. A spa service is placed on the spa’s schedule only when the purchase is confirmed with on-line payment. All spa package parties must be reserved with a minimum of five (5) office business days prior to the actual desired spa party date to ensure proper staffing for your special spa event.
• We are happy to honor SpaFinder, Spa Boom, WaySpa, Spa Emergency or LeVonne de Spa gift certificates. SpaFinder/Spa Wish gift certificates and/or cards can not be used for on-line only specials or deals. Gift certificates are worth face value and may be subject to limitations. If the service(s) desired exceed the gift certificate amount the difference must be paid with a credit card prior to scheduling the desired service. No change will issued for services less than the gift certificate face value/amount. Refunds will not be issued. Once a service is reserved via phone or online you have agreed to spa policies as stated on this page. We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express (AMEX) and PayPal. Sorry, we do not accept on-line checks via Paypal.
